Dance Threadz opened in 1994 to bring expert pointe shoe fittings and the very best in dancewear to dancers in Orange County. Our motto at the time was “something special in dancewear” and our detailed and personalized fittings, as well as our belief that every dancer should feel beautiful, quickly made us leaders in the dancewear community.
Thirty years later, we still offer the most professional and thorough pointe shoe fittings around. Ballerinas of all ages and experience travel from throughout Southern California to be fit at our store. All of our fitters are ballerinas themselves and know firsthand how unique it is to dance en pointe and the importance of the right shoe. We strive for the perfect fit and take as much time as needed to ensure every dancer leaves with their best shoe.
We are committed to filling our space with the most innovative pointe shoes on the market and a highly curated selection of the best dancewear in the world. We sell products for ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and musical theater for dancers of all ages, abilities and genders.
