SALES ASSOCIATE

 

Dance Threadz is looking for an outgoing, reliable and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in north Orange County.

 

The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing professional fittings and exceptional customer service in accordance with Dance Threadz standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of dancewear styles and brands, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every guest. Must be comfortable working with children and adults. This role also involves maintaining a clean, organized sales floor, restocking merchandise and supporting daily store operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to accurately fit dancers of all ages in a variety of dance shoes (no pointe shoes)

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about our dancewear and answer product-related questions

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently 

• Assist with merchandise restocking, pricing and floor displays

• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and visual standards

• Support inventory management, including receiving and pricing new products

 

Qualifications:

• Required - Prior retail experience | Dance background | High school diploma

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Friendly and professional demeanor

• Ability to work independently and assist multiple customers at once

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Set schedule during store hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Must be available for at least three 6-hour shifts during the week and Saturdays (24 hours a week total)

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour
